Exciting Updates for Our Cheerleaders This Season!

New and exciting things are happening this season for our amazing and talented cheerleaders! Beginning this 2026 season, D3-D1 cheer families will purchase their child’s cheer uniform instead of renting it.

After careful consideration, we believe this change will greatly benefit both cheerleaders and families by improving comfort, quality, convenience, and long-term value.

Each cheerleader will be professionally sized by a Varsity representative, ensuring a proper fit from the very start of the season. This means no more tacking skirts, adjusting tops, or making temporary alterations. The skirts will feature a stretchy waistband, allowing for greater comfort, improved movement, and extended wear as your cheerleader grows — eliminating worries about mid-season size changes.

The new uniforms are made from higher-quality, breathable fabrics designed to withstand the demands of cheerleading while lasting longer overall.

Owning the uniform also means:

• No uniform pick-up or return dates

• No late fees or condition assessments

• No added cleaning or replacement fees

Once your cheerleader no longer needs the uniform, families will have the opportunity to resell it to another family. We plan to create an EFAA Merchandise/Resale page to help facilitate this process and make it easy for everyone.

How are we going to help with the initial cost of purchasing your child’s own cheerleading uniform?

-We will offer a fundraiser, and if you choose to participate, proceeds can go directly toward your cheerleader's uniform purchase.
- The resale page will allow families to buy and sell gently used uniforms within our organization

Because of this change of families purchasing their own cheer uniforms, we are lowering costs for cheer registration ONLY.

Flag Football Cheer (Kindergarten and 1st-year 1st graders) These teams will continue to wear the current uniforms we have on hand to help with the initial cost for our youngest cheerleaders.
